Tom was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls his entire life. He was a graduate of Kent State University, where he was a member of the bowling team, a sport he continued to enjoy up until his last months. Tom also enjoyed family gatherings, horse racing and going to the movies. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Emmett and Anastasia Smith. Tom was employed by Raytheon Company for 46 years as a computer analyst, retiring in 1999.

I don't live in Colorado anymore but my family is still there, so every time I go home, Mother Cabrini Shrine is the first place I go. It is so peaceful and beautiful and it is my favorite place on earth. Thank you to all the people that help to keep the shrine the way that it should be, amazing.
