Sister Bridget Zanin, MSC, joined the Cabrini University community on Tuesday, November 29 in Campus Ministry. DONT ALLOW ELDERLY LOVED ONES HERE, unless you don't love your elderly relatives. I have been to Cabrini nursing home many times over the past couple of years to visit someone. This place is by far the best facility that my loved one has been in. There are activities going on through out the facility that you can pick and choose to go to. The food is not bad, the staff is friendly- don't get me wrong, I know there are issues, but there are issues everywhere.
I don't live in Colorado anymore but my family is still there, so every time I go home, Mother Cabrini Shrine is the first place I go. It is so peaceful and beautiful and it is my favorite place on earth. Thank you to all the people that help to keep the shrine the way that it should be, amazing. My family member is very religious, and is very happy that she can receive the Eucharist everyday. She has no complaints, and generally appears to be very satisfied with her care. If it was for bedpan duties, the aides NEVER made me feel humiliated, which was my biggest fear. That whole bedpan thing, in my opinion, is the most undignified & humiliating experience for anyone. And at 60 yrs of age you don't want anyone cleaning your privates.
